Shaw Floors introduces new tile and glass products
Shaw Floors has expanded its stylish tile and stone collection to include new tile and glass products. Including the newest and most popular size selections and designer colors, Shaw is expanding its product mix to meet growing consumer demand for products that support diverse interior design needs and lifestyle demands.
“We’ve identified an opportunity in the marketplace to offer select colors, designs and size offerings that haven’t been made available by Shaw in the past,” said Vance Hunsucker, Shaw’s tile and stone sales manager. “By truly listening to the consumer and leveraging our research and industry expertise, we’re developing a stylish and high quality lineup of tile and stone offerings that meet the demands of today’s highly educated and enthusiastic consumer.”
Shaw will include three new introductions to its tile & stone collection, including Summerwind, Valhalla and Nepal. Each product offers a beautiful porcelain body featuring a natural and fresh designer look, delicate pitting and surface texture. The porcelain introductions are part of a robust plan to expand Shaw’s tile, stone and glass offerings. The company’s first natural stone collection, including tumbled travertines and honed and filled travertines in a variety of colors, will be introduced in mid-October 2012.
“This is certainly a flooring category that allows our buyers to flex their creativity by incorporating special accents and colorful designs into the home,” said Hunsucker. “Our new product additions and our ongoing expansion in the market will allow us to respond to the consumer’s desire for products that embody tasteful style and impeccable Shaw quality.”
New introductions to Shaw’s Decorative Accents glass collection include Glass Essentials, offered now in revitalized colors; Elements, which includes thinner glass mosaics as well as intricate glass and stone looks; and Modern Metals, including a new trendy and stylish gunmetal color option.
Shaw’s tile, stone and glass introductions will be marketed and delivered in the Southeast and Southwest, U.S., but made available upon request to flooring retailers across the U.S.
