Deborah Lloyd Forrest, FASID, and Stephen Perkins, AIA, ISHC, founders and co-owners for fourteen years of ForrestPerkins, have completed a transaction that results in the transfer of Mr. Perkins' shares to Ms. Forrest. Deborah Forrest is now President and sole owner of ForrestPerkins, the global interior architecture and design firm with offices in Dallas, San Francisco and Washington, DC. Ms. Forrest says, "ForrestPerkins is poised to meet a promising future, building on its strong reputation for design excellence and creating successful projects that meet our clients' financial goals." She attributes the firm's national and international success to the partnership Mr. Perkins and she created through their shared vision, mutual professional and personal respect and friendship of over thirty years as well as the contributions of the many talented professionals who have joined the firm over the years.
Deborah Lloyd Forrest and Stephen Perkins have accomplished much as partners and individuals. Forrest, a Fellow of the American Society of Interior Designers and its 2004 Designer of Distinction, is a member of the Hospitality Design Magazine Platinum Circle. Perkins is widely recognized for his significant contribution to the design profession and the hospitality industry as a member of the elite, invitation-only, International Society of Hospitality Consultants; he too, was inducted in Hospitality Design Magazine's Platinum Circle in 2004.
