As part of Basic Coatings continuing commitment to provide today’s wood flooring distributors and contractors with products and services, they are pleased to announce the following promotions and new hires:

•  Brad Betz has been promoted to Vice President. Under his leadership as Director of Sales & Marketing, Basic Coatings has further strengthened itself as the preeminent wood floor coatings manufacturer.
•  Mark Vick has accepted the position as Director of Sales. He comes to Basic Coatings with a unique, varied and extensive background of sales leadership within the flooring industry with regional flooring distributors and flooring products manufacturers, such as Sampco Companies, AkzoNobel Coatings, Radio Distributing Company and the Gerlinger Company.
•  Micah Petersen has been promoted to Product Manager – Floor Care. He has been with the organization for over five years as its Product Development Chemist. In his new role, he will be responsible for all aspects of the organization’s Floor Care Category from product conception through all phases of a product’s life cycle (introductory, growth, maturity and decline).
•  Bryan Day has accepted the position of Southeast Regional Sales Manager. He comes to Basic Coatings with 15 years of experience in the wood flooring industry with such companies as, Hoboken, UFloor Systems and most recently Mohawk Industries.
