The Vanderbilt King Bed by Habersham is among the exciting new additions to the Biltmore program being introduced at the October High Point Market.

The new Biltmore Vanderbilt King Bed was inspired by the Sheraton Room at Biltmore House, a 250-room French Renaissance chateau built in 1895 in Asheville, N.C. The piece is named for Biltmore's visionary creator George Vanderbilt.

During their lifetimes, renowned world travelers George and Edith Vanderbilt journeyed throughout Europe and the Far East gathering treasures and accents for their home. The Biltmore For Your Home and Biltmore Chateau Reserve collections are directly inspired by Biltmore House and the many rare pieces the Vanderbilts collected during their travels. Biltmore Chateau Reserve offers products with the finest materials and craftsmanship, and Biltmore For Your Home provides updated traditional style that is affordable luxury for today's homeowners.

"With these two collections, Biltmore and our partners have created timeless pieces that infuse the global influences found throughout the estate and evoke the value of home and hospitality that was so important to the Vanderbilts," said Biltmore Licensing Director, Donnette Miller. "The Biltmore brand resonates with consumers across the country, who are eager for fresh ideas and unique products to make their homes warm and welcoming."

The Biltmore House and gardens provide a rich source of inspiration for products that suit today's lifestyles. Furnishings and accessories for indoors and out — including illuminating accents and lush area rugs — are the essence of Biltmore.

The eclectic nature of the Vanderbilts' furnishings is exemplified by traditional-style reproduction area rugs such as the Biltmore Select Bidjar to the transitional design of the stylized pattern of Balustrade by Capel Rugs. A modern interpretation of Biltmore style can be found in accents like the Angelica table lamp from Dimond Lighting, which incorporates antique mercury glass and polished nickel into a traditional form.

During the High Point Market taking place Oct. 13-18, attendees can view a wide range of Biltmore products at the following showrooms:
