General Equipment Company appoints Scudder as National Sales Manager

General Equipment Company has appointed Phil Scudder as national sales manager. In his new position, Scudder will be responsible for the development and coordination of sales and marketing for both national and independent accounts in the construction-related marketplace. He will also oversee General Equipment’s network of sales representative organizations in North America.

Prior to joining General Equipment, Scudder was vice president of sales for a leading manufacturer of specialized construction products. A graduate of St. Petersburg College in St. Petersburg, Florida, he has worked in the construction equipment industry since 1982 and has more than two decades of experience in professional sales management. Throughout his career, he has received multiple awards for salesmanship, including the 1980 presidential award for salesman of the year and the 1995 founders award for the highest achievement in sales management from Benner-Nawman Inc.
