Kronotex U.S.A., Inc. (Kronotex) has joined the North American Laminate Flooring Association (NALFA) as a Regular Member. NALFA Regular Members are manufacturers, importers or marketers that offer laminate flooring for sale within North America. Kronotex, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Swiss Krono Group, is one of the largest laminate flooring manufacturers in the world.

“It’s with great excitement that we announce Kronotex USA as our newest Regular Member,” says Bill Dearing, president of NALFA. “Kronotex USA is one of the largest domestic laminate flooring manufacturers and their membership along with our other regular members is validation of the impact NALFA continues to have with our flooring industry in North America as well as abroad.”

NALFA is dedicated to a synergistic, industry-wide approach to maintaining voluntary product performance standards for laminate flooring throughout the United States and Canada. Membership in NALFA provides companies with an opportunity to actively advance the causes of our industry.

“Kronotex USA has been a leading manufacturer of laminate flooring in North America since 2005.  As we navigate through the many commercial and technical issues that the laminate category faces in the years ahead, we believe that NALFA is the best vehicle to help protect and promote the category as a whole,” says George Kelley, Kronotex USA president & CEO. “On behalf of Kronotex USA, we look forward to being an active and positive contributor to the NALFA organization.”

Other NALFA Regular Members include Columbia Flooring, Mannington Mills, Mohawk, Pergo, LLC, Quick-StepShaw Industries, Inc. and TORLYS, Inc.

NALFA offers three levels of membership - Regular Manufacturing Membership, Associate Membership and Testing House/Lab/Academic Membership.  For more information, visit http://nalfa.com/find-a-product/become-a-member/ to download the membership packet.
