IVC US will begin interviewing and hiring for fourth shift employees for its corporate manufacturing headquarters in Dalton, Ga. Selected candidates will be set to begin work in mid to late September 2013.
IVC US will kick off its application process with a job fair on Friday, August 23 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., at 1406 Chattanooga Ave. in conjunction with the Georgia Department of Labor’s Dalton Career Center. Prospective applicants can also view opportunities online at www.ivcgroup.us.
“With the addition of a fourth shift, IVC US is exceeding its job creation commitment to the local community made back in 2010 when the manufacturing investment decision was made, “ says Xavier Steyaert, Co-CEO at IVC US. “The success we experience with our sheet vinyl product in the North American market is a testimony to the superior quality our North Georgia employees consistently produce in our state-of-the-art Dalton plant.”
IVC US currently operates on three shifts, 24 hours a day, five days a week. However, in order to keep up with market demand, capacity and the company’s rapid growth rate, adding a fourth shift is a welcomed necessity that will allow IVC US to operate 24 hours a day, six days a week.
“We are looking for individuals with experience in specific areas, such as print press experience, compounding experience and ink/dye experience, but also in more general capacities related to manufacturing and industrial operations,” says Andrew Kearton, Vice President of Manufacturing at IVC US. “We also offer an excellent work environment, including a climate controlled manufacturing facility in a safe and automated work setting.”
“Ideal candidates for our expansion are those who can demonstrate that they are dependable, committed, pay attention to detail and are ready to contribute to our successes as a team,” says Micah Riggle, Director of Human Resource at IVC US. “We offer competitive pay packages and an excellent benefits plan that begins on your first day of employment. I appreciate the assistance of the Georgia Department of Labor’s Dalton Career Center and look forward to meeting many new IVC employees next Friday.”
Since opening its manufacturing doors in 2011, IVC US has created nearly 200 jobs and is excited to be in the position to create more.
