FCICA, the Flooring Contractors Association, will host a webinar on utilizing the estimate on Thursday Nov. 21 at 11:00 a.m. EST.

Terry Wheat of RFMS will present this webinar on Utilizing the Estimate. This course is intended to convey the information necessary for an Installation Manager to run a successful project from a prepared estimate. The first area covered during this session will be the technical, documentation and calculation side of the estimate, then move on to the installation side of the estimate focusing on investigating the project, reviewing job site conditions, confirming installation costs, and managing all aspects of the installation so that actual costs stay within estimated projections. 

This session is the first in a series of courses offered in the FCICA Installation Manager Accreditation Program. The Installation Manager, or IM, is the main contact to customers’ field personal, including project superintendent and facility managers. Using manufactures’, and related industry associations and leaders’ best practices to develop modules of learning and testing, FCICA has addressed the need for an industry recognized skill level for Installation Managers. The next modules will be available at FCICA’s 2014 Convention.
