croswick- chevronCoswick Hardwood has launch the Chevron collection, a new line of European-style wood flooring.

The new line will be presented at the Surfaces show in Las Vegas Jan. 28-30th, 2014, and will be available in North America in early 2014.

The distinguishing characteristic of Chevron flooring is the 45 degree diagonal cut at the end of each plank that allows individual pieces to be laid in a zig-zag pattern. Chevron style calls for impeccable geometric precision, which, in turn, makes it a more elegant, visually rich surface, as well as allows for more variation in installation patterns.

Coswick Chevron collection includes nine designer floors, manufactured from white oak, ash, and American walnut and available in several surface finishes. Use of 2-layer T&G engineered technology not only allows Coswick to manufacture a wider plank, but also ensures superb stability in a wide range of interiors, temperatures and climates.

“Historically, emergence of Chevron flooring signaled the evolution of more geometrically complex styles in flooring across Europe,” said Vladimir Ianovski, founder of Coswick Hardwood. “Use of state-of-the-art technology to create the new Chevron collection allowed us to make the classic flooring style found in European palaces and chateaus available for just about any type of modern interior.”

Chevron-style flooring is found in numerous palaces and chateaus across Europe, including the Louvre, royal palaces and medieval castles in the Loire Valley - Amboise, Villandry, Montsoreau, Saumur, Azay-le-Rideau, Langeais, Chambord, Chenonceau, Blois, Brissac and many more.

Coswick Chevron Collection includes:

  •  2-layer Tongue-and-Groove engineered technology ensures superior dimensional stability of flooring in a wide range of temperatures and climates
  • High quality factory-applied surface finishes, matte Silk Oil or wear-resistant CosNanoTech+ lacquer
  • Nine designer flooring products manufactured from white oak, ash, and American walnut
  • Plank dimensions are 12.7mm x 107.95mm x 530 (lengthwise) and are larger than that of traditional chevron flooring, which allows for seamless integration of Coswick Chevron floors within modern interiors

Coswick Chevron flooring will be available in North America in early 2014.
