Dover Rug & Home hosted “From Floors to Walls – Everything you need to know about buying fine art & fine rugs” as part of the first annual Boston Design Week celebration - a 10-day design-focused festival taking place at various locations in and around Greater Boston.
Mahmud Jafri, CEO of Dover Rug & Home, and Jacqui Becker of Jacqueline Becker Fine Arts Consulting Services educated guests on the importance of unifying their rugs and wall décor in order to enhance and compliment their desired look and feel to fit each lifestyle. Guests learned the facts of how to purchase fine art and fine rugs, what drives their prices and how to make an educated investment in the pieces that will last a lifetime. Vignettes of beautiful carpets and fine art were on display and offered in classic, traditional, contemporary and transitional styles to further illustrate the discussion. It was an interactive discussion and guests tested their knowledge pricing by guessing the value of each display.
