The North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD) has released its NAFCD Employee Compensation Report.

The study analyzes 2013 compensation data of 978 U.S. firms in more than 6,000 locations, according to the association. The value of this report helps companies determine where their compensation plan stands, not only within the industry, but also compared to other companies in distribution. It also helps NAFCD protect company interests by responding to legislative proposals regarding government-mandated health and leave benefits for employees, and helps companies that must prove their compensation is "reasonable" within the constraints of the Internal Revenue Code.

The NAFCD detailed report provides information about both executive and employee compensation including salaries, bonuses, commissions and perks. It also includes details about fringe benefits such as health insurance, retirement programs, and employee time off.

The industry report presents the analysis of all participating firms. Firms were categorized into over 20 sales volumes and over 100 geographic areas, according to the association.

NAFCD members who participated in the survey have already received the results at no cost. NAFCD non-participating members may purchase the report for $495. Non-members may also purchase the report but for $995.
