| Registration for FCICA's Convention 2015 is now open. |
Registration is now open for the Flooring Contractors Association's (FCICA) 2015 Convention: Riding the Wave of Success.
Convention 2015 will be hosted at the Kona Kai Resort and Marina in San Diego, March 1 to 4. The four-day event will feature five educational sessions, a tabletop show, industry networking opportunities, reception and dinner at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, silent auction, optional tours including “Little Italy” and “Sailing on the America” adventure day and more.
Included in the convention's educational sessions are three sessions that will be taped for the Certified Installation Manager (CIM) program. The educational sessions will comprise of Installation Manager Module #7—Financial Management; Budget vs. Actual; Installation Manager Module #7a: Chapter 2—Handling Claims on the Jobsite; Installation Manager Module #8—Closing Out the Job; What’s New with Safety; and concluding with Tools & Equipment—Are You Prepared?
On Tuesday, March 3, contractors will have a chance to visit with manufacturers during the tabletop show and learn about new and innovative products. Exhibitors currently registered include Ardex Americas, MAPEI, Ecore Commercial Flooring, H.B. Fuller Construction Products, Advanced Adhesive Technologies, Schönox/HPS North America, Procedo Flooring, Royal Adhesives and Sealants, USG and Wagner Meters.
