The International Surface Event (TISE) has entered a strategic partnership with Houzz for the upcoming show held Jan. 20 to 23 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

According to show organizers, the partnership between TISE and Houzz will bring valuable opportunities and resources to attendees and exhibitors. The Houzz partnership will entail a significant presence on the show floor and educational sessions tailored to offer success tips, business development tools and consumer insights designed to help attendees grow their business and build their brands.

Houzz is an online platform for home remodeling and design which brings consumers and professionals together in one place to connect, share information, resources and knowledge for their next indoor or outdoor home remodeling project. Houzz offers a place where consumers can browse and save images from an extensive photo library, find the right design and construction professionals in their area and connect with other homeowners who have tacked similar projects. Houzz has become a community of more than 20 million homeowners, interior designers, architects, builders, remodelers, home design enthusiasts and home improvement professionals—across the country and around the world.

“[Houzz's] research and consumer information coupled with extensive knowledge of the industry and impressive digital platforms will be a valuable asset to all TISE attendees and exhibitors," said Amie Gilmore, CEM and director of the event.

Houzz will have an 800 square foot exhibit space on the show floor, booth #2839, which will include Ask-the-Expert Stations where attendees can get one-on-one training and in-person setup of their professional online Houzz business profile from a Houzz professional. These experts will provide free advice to attendees on how to use Houzz as a business development tool. In addition, Houzz now offers Site Designer, a complimentary website design and publishing tool to all professional members of Houzz to enable them to quickly turn their online profiles into a website for their business.

Houzz will be presenting “Three Tips to Maximize Your Exposure on Houzz," 15 minute education sessions offered in their booth designed to demonstrate the tips and tricks to get to the top of the search results on Houzz. A more extensive session detailing how to maximize the Houzz platform entitled, “How to Houzz” is being presented in the TISE Conference Program on Thursday, Jan. 22 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

All Houzz education sessions are free to Expo attendees, no advance registration is required. Online registration for TISE is available through midnight Jan. 19. Beginning Jan. 20, on-site pricing goes into effect.
