Metroflor Corp. has formed a partnership with Shnier, a Canadian floor covering solutions company, to distribute Aspecta, the luxury vinyl tile (LVT) manufacturer's new global contract brand.

Shnier has invested significantly in the marketing of commercial flooring products over the past three years with the creation of the D9 commercial sales force. According to the company, LVT is Shnier’s fastest growing product category because specifiable LVT is poised for growth in all commercial segments: hospitality, education, health care, retail and corporate.

According to Paul Eanes, vice president of sales for Aspecta, Shnier's decision to take on Aspecta in Canada will be a robust environment for the brand, noting it gives the distributor a comprehensive commercial LVT program, with visuals and technical attributes, ideally fitting with its D9 commercial sales efforts.
