The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) has announced its roster of presenters who will share tremendous business and community-building insights during the Wood Flooring Expo, April 28 to May 1, in St. Louis.

“We have a powerful group of speakers who will share their messages for business success, particularly tied to business development through community service, at this year’s Expo,” said Michael Martin, NWFA's president and CEO. “Each speaker has achieved incredible successes in his chosen career field—earning Oscar honors, World Series and Super Bowl championships and Hall of Fame accolades—but even more significant is how each ‘plays it forward’ in big ways to benefit others. We look forward to welcoming Bill Courtney, Gary Sinise, Ozzie Smith, John Mozeliak and Isaac Bruce to this year’s Expo.”

This year’s “Play it Forward” themed Expo will start with Bill Courtney, subject of the Oscar-winning documentary, “Undefeated,” and owner and CEO of Classic American Hardwoods in Memphis, Tenn. He will be the keynote speaker at the Kickoff General Session on Tuesday, April 28. Courtney will share insights about building a business from scratch despite a down economy and making an unimaginable impact on the underprivileged youth in his community.

Mozeliak, general manager of the St. Louis Cardinals, will be the keynote speaker during an all-star awards ceremony on Wednesday, April 29. He will talk about “Building a Business Through Community Service.”

Baseball Hall of Famer Smith will announce NWFA’s partnership with the Gateway PGA REACH Foundation, an organization he helps guide to benefit underprivileged youth. Actor Sinise, of the Gary Sinise Foundation, will officially launch a partnership with NWFA to provide wood flooring in new smart homes for wounded military veterans. Super Bowl champion Bruce, who makes a difference for youth in need through his Isaac Bruce Foundation, will meet attendees during the Closing Tailgate Party on Thursday, April 30. Bruce also will announce the winner of this year’s grand prize VIP trip for two to Super Bowl 50.

The show was recognized by Trade Show Executive in March for the third consecutive year as one of the Top 50 fastest growing shows, for an average of 25% growth each year, in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Poised for a fourth year of growth, attendance registrations are outpacing previous years yet again. The trade show floor sold out in February, according to show officials.
