The International Surface Event (TISE) has announced the call for nominations for the Best of 2016 Awards program, sponsored by Stone World, TILE Magazine and Floor Covering News. The winning companies will be announced and awarded in the winner’s booths in 2016 at TISE in Las Vegas.

 

Participation in the Best of Awards program, which encompasses SURFACES, StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas and TileExpo, is free for companies exhibiting at TISE 2016. Submissions may include a product, program, service, business practice or booth design that the company believes has achieved incredible success or excellence. A company may submit only one product in a single category, but may submit the same product across multiple categories.  

 

Amie Gilmore, TISE show director, noted the rules for submission changed during the Best of 2015 Awards nomination period and submissions no longer have to be new. “Due to this rule change some manufacturers were unaware and did not participate. We would like to acknowledge this and encourage all companies who have achieved excellence in a category to participate in the Best of 2016 Awards, and to complete your nomination now.”

 

The Best of Awards for each show will be evaluated and determined by a panel of judges chosen by the official publication sponsors. Awards will be presented by representatives from the sponsoring publications and TISE show management. Winners will also be featured in a post-show press release, featured on the show’s social media channels and highlighted on TISEwest.com.

TISE 2016 will be held Jan. 19 to 22 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
