The Wood Flooring Summit which will be held as part of Domotex 2016, taking place Jan. 16 to 19 in Hannover, Germany, will feature displays covering traditional wood parquet to other wood floorings, laminates and outdoor decking, according to show organizers.

Taking place for the third time, the Wood Flooring Summit in Hall 9, officials said it is set to be the event of the year for the international wood parquet and laminate sector, and a major highlight at next year’s Domotex. 

Forming part of the successful Innovations@Domotex format, the new products from exhibitors selected by a jury of industry professionals will be showcased in Hall 9 in a series of stylish displays. The starting point is a phalanx of sample displays, created by folding up long strips of wood flooring into sharp peaks, resembling a series of easels. Affixed to these standing display panels are samples that visitors can touch and handle, explanatory notes on the products, and directions to the stands where visitors can view the new products for themselves. These sharp triangular peaks are echoed in the architecture of the catering and lounge areas of the Wood Flooring Summit, which thus blends seamlessly into the overall design concept. Here exhibitors can hold conversations in a relaxed and informal setting, making valuable new contacts and reaching the target groups that matter most for their business.

Many big-name exhibitors have already reserved space at the Wood Flooring Summit, including Bauwerk Parkett, Kährs, Kronotex Meisterwerke Schulte and Unilin. Roughly 200 exhibitors from the wood parquet and laminate sector are expected, together with over 180 exhibitors specializing in applications and installation systems, according to officials.
