Schönox has announced that Todd Gates has joined the company as vice president of sales and business development for the Western U.S. 

 

Gates will be based in Las Vegas, furthering the development of distribution and support opportunities for Schönox across one of the fastest growing mega regions for the company.  

 

“Todd’s extensive experience in the LVT flooring sector pairs well with our Schönox products, which are ideal for use with the resilient category and others where subfloor preparation is even more critical to installation success,” said Doug Young, executive vice president, HPS Schönox.

 

Gates was most recently with Karndean USA as vice president and served on the executive management board where he was a founding member of the company in charge of sales, distribution, exports and technical support.  

 

“Todd’s expertise in the flooring industry, his work ethic and dedication are already leading us to rethink our goals with higher targets and broader planning,” explained Thomas Trissl, principal, HPS Schönox.  “Todd joined us just in time to participate in our first annual Schönox Strategic Planning Conference where his insights were a welcome addition to our presentations and discussions with the entire U.S. distribution team.”  

 

In addition to his work in the Western U.S., Gates will be utilizing his experiences and distribution knowledge to develop opportunities in Latin America.
