Doug Hayes, director of commercial and business development for Florida Tile, has been inducted into the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA) Hall of Fame.

“On behalf of our company, I congratulate Doug on this honor,” said Michael Franceschelli, Florida Tile's CEO. “However, I am most pleased for Doug, knowing the commitment he has made here and to the wider industry through his involvement with CTDA. This is well-deserved.”

According to the association, the honor is given each year to recognize outstanding CTDA leaders, “those people who did and are doing more than just belong to the association.”

Criteria include being or having been a CTDA member, participating in CTDA events, active involvement in CTDA and demonstrated leadership within the industry that reflects the CTDA mission statement.

By entering the tile industry in 1982, Hayes became a third-generation veteran of the tile business. He has been involved with CTDA for more than 20 years, prior to and during his association with Florida Tile, serving on the organization’s marketing and convention committees and now his fourth term as a member of its board.
