DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2016, running March 22 through 24, will feature the largest array of resilient floor coverings since the show was established.

According to the company, 95% of the available exhibition space for resilient floor coverings has already been booked. There has been a noticeable increase in exhibitor numbers and occupied floor space, especially in the commercial construction sector. Spread over three halls, more than 250 Chinese and international manufacturers of resilient floor coverings will be presenting their products on 35,000 sq. meters of floor space.

Among these companies are Armstrong, Gerfloor, LG Hausys, Sika, Henkel, Hanwha, Nox, KDF, IVC, Daejin and Unilin, the Chinese firms Novalis, Meijer, Kentier and Jinka along with resilient floor coverings manufacturers including first-timers such as Konkera, KCC and Ilshin. Also exhibiting for the first time is US Floors.

Piet Dossche, owner and CEO of US Floors, and a regular visitor of the show, explains why US Floors has decided to participate for the first time in DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR. The company wants to “send a clear message that it plans to expand its operations worldwide and establish partnerships with established local players” in every region. The Chinese market for floor coverings is still growing very rapidly, and therefore offers many opportunities for international companies to enter the market, buy products and develop business relationships. The manufacturing sector in China, with its competitive pricing and innovative products, continues to boom,” says Dossche.

US Floors has grown rapidly in recent years due to the success of its COREtec product collection. And next year, at DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2016, the company will be presenting LVT floor coverings  in various designs, colors and surface finishes, which are virtually indistinguishable from the natural materials they replicate.

But the upward trend is not confined to resilient floor coverings, the company said. Other segments at the show are also expanding. Already 80% of the entire available display space has been booked. Particularly popular with the industry are the new two-year rental contracts, which offer exhibitors more favorable terms.

The show also has a special offer for visitors, too. Anyone registering now can get a free admission ticket. Online registration also gives visitors the opportunity to get in touch with exhibitors ahead of the show, so that they can plan their agendas more efficiently.
