DuPont Sorona will be a flagship exhibitor at Domotex, taking place Jan. 16 to 19.

The company will be showcasing its 2015 Bio Business Award winning DuPont Sorona biopolymer, a sustainably sourced, high-performance fiber that contains 37% renewable plant-based ingredients. When utilized in the production of commercial and residential carpets, DuPont is establishing new standards for durable, soft, stain-resistant carpets that offer a compelling alternative to wool or nylon, according to the company.

During the trade show, DuPont will be demonstrating DuPont Sorona in its exhibition space in Hall 6, Booth G07. On Monday, Jan. 18 from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Innovations@Domotex area in Hall 6, Hao Ding, business development and technical sales manager for DuPont Biomaterials, will be presenting an overview of the Sorona technology. He will discuss the many ways that commercial and residential carpet manufacturers are utilizing this unique fiber.

“DuPont has exhibited at Domotex for several years, and our presence at Domotex 2016 is particularly appropriate as we will be revealing a number of DuPont Sorona success stories and applications,” said Ding. “Domotex is an excellent platform for DuPont to reach global connections in the carpet manufacturing, retailing and design space and to interact with current and potential DuPont Sorona users across these communities.”
