Rug Doctor has established a new business development team to leverage the growing appeal for the company's machines.

Heading up the business development team as president is Harrison Dean, a seasoned sales executive with more than 20 years of experience in developing teams and driving top-line growth for organizations such as Garretson Resolution Group and Inmar. A former colleague from Inmar, Garry Church has been named senior director of business development. Church joins Rug Doctor from Pleio, and began his career as a merchandising specialist at Lowe’s. Austin Ferguson rounds out the business development team as senior manager, and also brings with her experience from Garretson Resolution Group and Inmar.

CEO Travis Lewis joined Rug Doctor in April 2015, and is driving the company's strategy for growth.

“Rug Doctor has over 80 percent brand awareness and strong market share,” said Lewis. “The brand leads in rentals, and now it’s time to increase our market share in other verticals. With the addition of Harrison, Garry and Austin, we have the right people in place to show consumers that Rug Doctor helps them clean more than just dirty carpets in the home.”

Rug Doctor has 80 employees in its Plano, Texas headquarters. The brand also maintains a manufacturing facility in Fenton, Mo., more than 35 warehouse distribution points across the U.S. and international operations in the U.K., Canada, Puerto Rico, Australia and more.
