Bona US received Vendor of the Year from Sam’s Flooring and Supply Co.

Sam’s Flooring operates under the trade names Chicago Hardwood Flooring, Blake Stevens Wood Floors, Acme Hardwood Flooring and T&G Hardwood. The award highlights the vendor with the greatest overall gross profit margin based on an entire product line. Additionally, the award recognizes the partnership that best supports Sam’s Flooring's mission to provide quality wood floor products in the industry while also supporting the company’s business goals.

“This year, Bona truly demonstrated the importance of partnership,” said Joseph Chapetta, director of Sam’s Flooring. “Not only do they consistently offer the best hardwood floor products in the industry, they work hard to help my business grow. It’s clear why Bona is the leader in hardwood floor care and maintenance given their ability to partner at this level. We were thrilled to offer them Vendor of the Year.”

Bona offers a wide range of products, tools and services at Sam’s Flooring, including a full line of finishes, stains, adhesives and equipment. Additionally, Bona hosts training classes at the Bona Training Center located adjacent to the Palatine, Ill., branch of Chicago Hardwood Flooring. The goal of these courses is to educate contractors and craftsman on best practices for hardwood flooring installation and finishing, according to the company.

“Over the past year Bona and Sam’s have developed a relationship that has been equally beneficial for both parties. The partnership, rooted in trust and respect, has helped grow both businesses by increasing distribution throughout the Chicagoland region,” said Nick Larson, Midwest territory manager, Bona.
