Formica has introduced Synchrony Advanced Hybrid Flooring, a line designed to give commercial customers a high-performance, low-maintenance floor suitable for large spaces in retail, education, government, and other commercial building environments.
Synchrony is constructed with a melamine/aluminum oxide wear surface with a high-density, composite-core material to dampen noise. The floor is intended to be extremely impact and moisture resistant, and is warm underfoot, according to Formica.
Synchrony can be swept and damp-mopped. It is available in 15-by-15-inch-square stone and ceramic visuals and 5-by-39-inch plank wood-grain visuals. The formats provide a modular flooring system developed to provide better design flexibility.
