After more than 35 years in the flooring industry, Wayne Wenger has announced his retirement from the Preferred Brands/Floor To Ceiling group, based in Burnsville, Minn.
The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has named Patrick Winters its first, full-time paid president effective August 1, 2009. Winters will report to the IICRC board of directors and its chairman.

The new store, at 3403 Samson Way in Bellevue (about 10 miles south of Omaha), will host an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. this Friday, June 26.
Roppe Corp. has launched IMPACT, a rubber products recycling program. Products are gathered at the jobsite and palletized for return to the company's recycling partner, based in the Midwest. Additionally, a new proprietary process allows products with adhesive to be recycled as well.
Anderson Hardwood Floors said it will expand its presence at Surfaces 2010, set for Feb. 2-4 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las vegas. Not only will the company return to its 8,000 sq. ft. front row position on the show floor, but is planning a "significant additional footprint to the show floor," Anderson said.
