As part of the Concrete Decor Show in San Diego, Calif., taking place Sept. 25 through 29, the outdoor area of the Bannister Family House, a facility on the UC San Diego Health Medical Center campus that houses relatives of acute-care patients, will get an all-expense paid makeover, compliments of the show’s promoters.

NeoCon, the North American show for commercial interior design, drew about 53,000 design professionals from around the world to Chicago’s theMART complex.
