The Certified Floorcovering Installers group recently sent a message to its members outlining the health of certain installers in the industry. Included in the message was the news that Jodi BlueJacket of Installation Management Services in Texas, a longtime member who has been "instrumental in developing the donations in those who encounter diffult times," is suffering from cancer.
"She is hoping to be admitted to the cancer hospital in Houston, TX. Miracles do happen and we really need a BIG ONE right now," the message reads. "I am sending this to you because she loves cards and being remembered. Please send her a THINKING OF YOU note."
If the recent donation of $145,000 to the Floor Covering Industry Foundation from CCA Global Partners' Alan Greenberg charity golf outing is any indication, the industry is only too eager to pitch in when a colleague has fallen on hard times.
