The Uzin division of UFloor Systems has announced that it will begin to sell an improved version of the RR 203 Substrate Crack Bridging Material.

Smaller, separate panels of bound fibers reduce the need for special cutting tools in addition to eliminating the cutting and peeling necessary with the old style. The new size is ideal for using with standard width doorways, saving time and creating less mess, according to the company. The products properties compensates for slight movements and variations in the substrate and due to its high tensile strength and reinforcing effect, it can absorb expansions and vibrations from the substrate and divert them, minimizing cracks from telegraphing through leveling compounds.
