APF’s CastorCrete Meets Demands for Pet Food Processing Facility
Cal Premium Treats, a California startup producing beef jerky treats for pets, moved into a USDA-grade facility spanning nearly 59,000 sq ft. The 30-year-old building had a clean substrate on the floors and walls, but still needed a floor covering system. The new flooring system had to stand up to impact, abrasion, chemicals, and food acids generated during the production process.
To meet the food processing demands, Huntington, Calif.-based American Restore selected two APF CastorCrete flooring systems, which are urethane mortars specially designed for food and beverage processing facilities, in addition to Sani-Wall for the walls.
