Capel Rugs recently introduced three creative new collections to its popular Genevieve Gorder line of licensed rugs. Two of the new collections, Intersection and Canyon, feature bold contemporary patterns.

Intersection, in tufted wool, is a lively geometric design. Sporting wide bands of related colors intersecting in a zigzag-like pattern, Intersection is offered in three on-trend colorways -- storm, a mix of black, charcoal and grey tones; sand, a mix of earthy browns; and slate, a mix of crisp blues, white and grey. Organic and inviting, Canyon also creatively combines bands of color in a curvaceous, nature-inspired contemporary pattern. Made in India of tufted wool, Canyon is available in two colorways: sand and storm.

The third new collection added to the Genevieve Gorder line is Brass Belly. Inspired by a timeless Art Nouveau design Gorder created for Tempaper, a wallcovering licensing partner, Brass Belly features rows of overlapping scallop shapes presented in duos of harmonious tones. Three colorways are available: storm (a blend of grey and charcoal), stone (rich brown tones) and ocean (blues and greens). Constructed in India, Brass Belly is made of space-dyed yarns for extra texture.

"All three of these fresh Genevieve Gorder designs drew an enthusiastic response from retailers and interior designers," Capel said. "Modern and hip, they target the Millennial audience that Genevieve has such a strong relationship with through her social media channels and TV presence."
