Luxury carpet company Scott Group Studio is launching a new carpet collection in late summer. Escala is the Spanish word for "scale" and the collection is inspired by different perspectives of the landscape, exploring how irregular designs found in nature work underfoot in both large- and small-scale patterns. The collection is meant to evoke light and dark, using golds, deep yellows and oranges to emulate the sun's beams and blacks and dark grays to represent the night. Escala is a Scott Group Custom Carpets collection, hand-tufted by artisans in their Grand Rapids, Mich., factory. Each rug can be customized to any scale and desired colorway.
