Halloween Costumes Transform Children’s Wheelchairs into Stylish Vehicles
Crossville, Tenn. -- Five children recently received custom-made Halloween costumes that transformed their wheelchairs into one-of-a-kind vehicles at RS&H Corporate Headquarters in Jacksonville, Fla. A unique community outreach partnership brought together architects, designers, engineers, contractors, and manufacturers to Crossville Studios warehouse space to build these costumes.
The adaptive costumes included a Cinderella carriage, a 1969 yellow racing Camaro, a Walt Disney World Monorail, and Vaneloppe’s Candy Cart from “Wreck-It Ralph,” and were provided to the children who requested them through the Independent Resource Living Center.
