To support the communities in which it operates, luxury vinyl tile manufacturer and distributor Karndean Designflooring has donated $30,000 to Las Vegas food bank Three Square and plans to make additional contributions in Dallas, Texas and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The company is headquartered in Pittsburgh, with additional showrooms and distribution centers located in Las Vegas and Fort Worth.

“We’ve been extremely fortunate that, even during the height of the pandemic, we never had to fully shut our doors; but for so many others, the past year has been devastating and left people unable to provide food for their families,” Karndean Designflooring CEO Bill Anderson said.

“At the heart of Karndean Designflooring is the core value that ‘people matter.’ This extends beyond our doors and into our local communities, a responsibility we do not take lightly.”

According to Three Square Food Bank, every dollar it receives in donations allows for the distribution of three meals, with demand remaining above pre-pandemic levels.

“We are so grateful for Karndean Designflooring as they help us realize our vision that no one in our community should be hungry,” said Brian Burton, president and CEO at Three Square Food Bank. “Their generosity will provide 90,000 meals—one of life’s most basic essentials—to families and individuals in need. We are absolutely floored by their tremendous commitment to ending hunger in Southern Nevada.”

Anderson, along with vice president of business strategy Noah Fulton and director of operations and sales support Doug Krivda presented the gift to Brian Burton, president and CEO of Three Square recently and plans to make the Fort Worth and Pittsburgh donations in the near future.
