The 21st annual Alan Greenberg Charity Golf Tournament benefiting the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF) took place September 13, 2023, at the historic Barnsley Gardens in Georgia. The event raised $140,000 for FCIF.  

Funds from the tournament support the foundation’s ongoing efforts to assist those who are currently, or have been, affiliated with the floor covering industry and are experiencing unanticipated hardships due to illness, disability, or other life-altering circumstances.

This year's event was attended by 144 golfers, and the group included retailers, vendors, manufacturers, distributors, and supporters from all over the nation. The tournament is a day of fellowship, friendship, and the opportunity for friendly competition, aimed at a common goal of goodwill. Their contributions to the FCIF—via participation in the tournament as well as event sponsorships—will assist the foundation at a time when it’s needed the most.

"There's a lot of effort getting the word out beyond Northwest Georgia because about 60 percent of the grant applications we receive are from Georgia, which is great, but the flooring industry extends across all of North America and we're trying to reach as many people as we can," Charlie Dilks, CPO at CCA Global Partners and FCIF board chair, told Floor Trends.
