The Flooring Contractors Association (FCICA) announced it has elected a new officer to the Executive Board for 2024. During the Board Meeting, held in conjunction with the CFI-FCICA 2023 Convention and Trade Show on September 20 - 22, FCICA leadership nominated its newest officer, Shane Jenkins, to its Executive Board as Vice Chair of Associates. 

Jenkins takes on the role from Jeffrey Johnson, Mapei Corporation, who just completed a 5-year term in the position. Johnson will remain on the FCICA Board of Directors as a Director. Jenkins is the Director of Technical Training and Development with Schönox, HPS North America Inc., a 13-year active member and strong supporter of FCICA.

Current board member, John Gillespie, CIM, LBJ Interior Solutions, was named Vice Chairman of the Board. He takes on the role from Mike Roberts, Flooring America Knoxville and Honorary FCICA member who just completed a 5-year term in the position, totaling 13 years on the Executive Board, beginning as Treasurer.

The FCICA Board of Directors serve a three-year rotational term and are elected at FCICA’s annual convention by members in good standing.

Jenkins joins the current FCICA Board of Directors:
