Houston, Texas-based chemical manufacturer Coval Technologies hired Aaron Statser as general manager of its flooring division He will be responsible for extending the reach of Coval coatings through distributors and direct users throughout the United States. In addition, he will oversee the US sales, operations, and marketing departments of Coval.

Delos, a manufacturer and importer of custom rugs and carpets based in Calhoun, Georgia, named Lacey Stinnett director of design. With a career spanning three decades in the flooring industry, Stinnett joins Delos to lead the design team and their efforts in the residential, hospitality, aviation, and private sectors. Her design expertise has garnered acclaim from prominent design firms, highlighting her intuitive and principled approach across textile mediums, including Axminster, hand tufted, machine made, and other technical processes. Her multifaceted experience also capitalizes on her keen ability to discern and apply design directions well-suited for custom projects.

Commercial flooring provider Spartan Surfaces welcomed Jason Montplaisir the new director of healthcare. Montplaisir brings 15 years of experience focusing on the healthcare industry through direct sales and as a market segment leader. Based in San Francisco, he will work alongside Western U.S. reps, while personally building the Bay Area market.

Uzin Utz North America promoted RJ Symalla to Pallmann US technical and training manager. Symalla been with Pallmann for eight years, previously as territory manager for the the Rocky Mountain region.

Uzin Utz North America also welcomed two new members to the Pallmann team, Sean James and Tim Weland. James started in the industry a little over two decades ago contracting and specializing in hardwood flooring sand and finish work, as well as quality subfloor prep and installation. Based in Santa Cruz, California, he will cover California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. Weland worked for himself for approximately 25 years installing, sanding and finishing all types of wood flooring in and around the Denver Metro area. Most recently, he was a project manager overseeing several commercial flooring projects. Based in Parker, Colorado, he will manage Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, South and North Dakota.
