Leading flooring companies are strengthening their leadership teams to drive innovation and market expansion. From Windmoeller's strategic healthcare appointment to Spartan Surfaces' comprehensive team growth and successful brand integration, these developments signal robust momentum in the commercial flooring sector.

Windmoeller Inc., a manufacturer of bio-based resilient floors, announced the appointment of Julie (Stegeman) Welch as senior healthcare director.  In her new role, Welch will oversee efforts to expand market reach of Windmoeller’s Pureline Organic Flooring, a high-performance, bio-based polyurethane flooring solution that has been a success in the U.S. market for over 10 years. Welch is a passionate advocate for design excellence and has been instrumental in driving innovation in the healthcare sector both as a designer and sales leader for more than 20 years.

Spartan Surfaces, a specialty flooring supplier headquartered in Bel Air, Maryland, added several new members to its sales team. Scott Pecore has been joins Spartan in Florida and oversee business development and strategic initiatives locally and nationally. Pecore's business development career specialized in healthcare group purchasing organizations (GPOs) and the implementation of purchasing agreements with medical equipment companies. His expertise in the healthcare segment is complemented by his extensive knowledge of the commercial space, including education, senior living, and government sectors.

Spartan welcomed Taylor Grossenkemper as territory manager for Missouri and John Bettinger joined as territory manager for North and South Dakota. Grossenkemper brings experience in flooring sales, bolstered by nearly a decade in interior design. She excels in the region with architects, designers and flooring contractors. Bettinger flooring background includes two decades in the industry throughout multiple markets. 

In addition, Spartan Surfaces announced the successful completion of its integration with Salesmaster and Great Northern Associates (GNA), effective January 1, 2025. This milestone marks the final step in consolidating the multi-brand organization into a single unified company under the Spartan Surfaces banner. As part of the integration, two key leadership appointments have been announced:  Ellen Stasi has been named national director of customer service, bringing 26 years of industry experience from her tenure at Salesmaster. Michael Goldfarb has been appointed director of distribution, leveraging his diverse background in operations and management.
