Somerset Hardwood Flooring Announces Plant Relocation
Somerset Hardwood Flooring, a company of the Bauwerk Group headquartered in St. Margrethen, Switzerland, is relocating its U.S. engineered hardwood flooring production to Somerset, Kentucky, adding 20 to 50 new jobs to the local economy.
As a result of this relocation, the plant in Crossville, Tennessee, will be closed by the end of the first quarter of 2024.
The company said it anticipates minimal impact to service. This change will allow for all manufacturing to be on one physical site, increasing efficiencies, quality, and carving the pathway for future growth and investment.
