Robert Varden, president and CEO of Unite Flooring Training Alliance, announced that Tom Cartmell, EVP of Consolidated Flooring in Indianapolis, has joined the Board of Directors for Unite.

Prior to Consolidated Flooring, Cartmell started his career as a commercial flooring installer before moving into management and sales. Most recently, Cartmell was with Diverzify.

“We are delighted that Tom is joining Unite to help guide our organization’s work to improve installation professionalism in our industry,” said Varden. “Tom is well-known and respected throughout flooring.”
