Women in the Floorcovering Industry (WIFI), an educational nonprofit that attracts, educates, and empowers women in the flooring industry, will host a meeetup at the 2024 CFI/FCICA Convention on October 2, 2024, at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida.

The one-hour networking event will take place from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2 and will feature networking and a panel discussion with installers, retailers and manufacturers moderated by Floor Trends & Installation Managing Editor Beth Miller and will cover topics on women in decision making, asking for professional support and advocating for yourself. A Q&A session will follow the panel discussion that offers the opportunity to cover “Questions You Never Asked.” 

Panelists to include: Leslie Del Pozo, VP marketing and communications, QEP; Jen Zurn, project manager, Certified Flooring Installers (CFI); Kelly Zimmerman, president, Flooring Solutions; and Allana McInnis, senior brand specialist, Mohawk Industries.
