Hiring News: NTCA, Havwoods and Wonder Porcelain Appoint New Team Members

Two tile companies and one wood manufacturer announce the addition of new team members. Read on for Floor Trends & Installation's round-up of recent arrivals and changes in flooring business and sales.

The National Tile Contractor Association (NTCA) appointed Angie Weber as its new digital advertising and membership specialist, effective October 1, 2024. With extensive experience in interior design and a strong background in the tile industry, Weber is poised to enhance the association’s digital presence and member engagement.

Weber has already made significant contributions to the tile community through her work with the TileLetter, where she translated articles into Spanish, ensuring that essential industry insights reach a wider audience with accuracy and clarity. Additionally, she currently manages NTCA’s social media platforms, reinforcing her commitment to effective communication across diverse audiences.

As an experienced interior designer specializing in remote construction and tile industry support, Angie has a proven track record of delivering tailored design solutions with meticulous attention to detail. Her proficiency in utilizing technology for seamless collaboration and project execution will be invaluable in her new role at NTCA.

Wood flooring specialist Havwoods named Michelle Morgado business development manager. In her new role at Havwoods, Morgado will focus on ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service. She will work closely with architects, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all specifications are met, from the early design stages to the final installation.

Dave Godlewski has joined the Wonder Porcelain team as the new director of sales. He has more than 20 years of experience in flooring, served in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps., and is a graduate of Penn state.

Most recently, he served as vice president of ceramic at UCX (formerly Belknap White, JJ Haines & Swiff Train), where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and industry insight. Godlewski has a proven history of growing market share and developing strategic relationships that have benefited clients and organizations in the ceramic manufacturing and distribution industry. In this new role, he will focus on enhancing sales strategies and fostering partnerships.
