Senco, a producer of fastening technology, introduces new line of off-the-shelf framing nailers, coil nailers, triggers and fasteners specifically designed for automation systems. The SmartLoad FramePro 751XP clipped head framing nailer, SmartLoad FramePro 752XP full round head framing nailer, and SmartLoad SCN65XP coil nailer mount easily to most popular bridge systems, providing dependable fastening performance for machine-driven, high-volume assembly of walls, floors, roofs and other wood construction.

The new SmartLoad tools feature extended fastener capacity to drive twice as many nails before reloading and a reload indicator to minimize assembly system downtime. The tools drive up to eight nails per second, are fabricated from high-strength metals for reduced weight and are customized for easy set-up on third party equipment/tables. Additionally, a range of positive remote fire triggers for automated operation is now available, to help manufacturers optimize productivity.

SmartLoad Nailers

Senco’s lineup of new framing and coil nailers for automated use includes: 

• FramePro751XP-SL clipped head framing nailer for 2 inch through 3-1/2 inch nails ranging from .113 to .148 inches in diameter, with an extended magazine that holds two strips of 30-degree paper-tape collated nails.
• FramePro752XP-SL full round head framing/sheathing nailer for 2 inch through 3-1/2 inch nails ranging from .120 to .162 inches in diameter, with an extended magazine that holds two strips of 21-degree plastic collated nails.
• SCN65XP-SL coil nailer for 2 inch to 3-1/2 inch nails ranging from 0.099 to .131 inches in diameter, with an oversized stainless steel tray that accommodates 1,000 nails.

Both FramePro tools feature a 360-degree adjustable exhaust, robust internal features and nail lockout to prevent dry-fire.

Triggers and Fasteners

Senco’s industrial-grade positive remote fire triggers are designed for simplicity and durability and are compatible with a range of Senco tools that are most popular for mounted applications. Automated manufacturers can choose between internal or external triggering, depending on the system design. The triggers require no routine oiling and minimal air input, ensuring low-maintenance, high-speed operation. All Senco remote fire triggers pass rigorous testing to ensure the reliability of over one million cycles without failure.

Additionally, new high-load coil nail configurations are now available for use with the SCN65XP-SL. These 15-degree high-load coil nails come in four different specifications, supporting 2 inch to 3 1/2 inch lengths and 0.099 to .131 inch diameters.
