Big D Floor Covering Supplies in Phoenix, Arizona, hosted the fourth and final 2025 TISE Regional Installation Competition in which flooring installers compete for the title of Installer of the Year.

Cesar Haro-Pena with Mike's Custom Flooring won the luxury vinyl plank category, and Hugo Gutierrez with Golden State Contract Flooring won the carpet category.

The International Surface Event (TISE) National Installer of the Year Competition spotlights the best flooring installers as they compete for the coveted award. Each of the regional competition winners will be flown to Las Vegas to compete for the title of National Installer of the Year. Competitors will win $3,000 and a championship belt. 

Competition sponsors include Mohawk, Performance Accessories, QEP/Roberts and Schönox. 

TISE 2025 will kick off its education sessions on January 27 and the exhibit hall will open on January 28. The show runs through January 30 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. For more information and to register, click here.
