Empire Today, a shop-at-home, direct-to-consumer flooring company based in Northlake, Illinois, has been inducted into the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Chicago & Northern Illinois' Torch Hall of Fame. The company received this honor after winning five BBB Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics—more than any other company in the region's history.

The Hall of Fame award, established in 2022, recognizes companies demonstrating sustained ethical excellence. Empire Today, which has maintained an A+ BBB rating since 1974, was evaluated on culture, character, community impact, and customer service.

"Having won more Torch Awards than any company in the region, on this 50th anniversary of our relationship with the BBB, we are honored to join the Legends of the Torch," said Empire CEO Brian Hutto.
