The U.S. Department of Energy recognized Better Plants partner Armstrong Flooring with a 2020 Better Practice Award for the company’s “Zero-Kilowatt Challenge,” an innovative effort to reduce energy during plant shutdown.

H.J. Martin and Son received the top honor in the Healthcare category of the 22nd Annual Starnet Design Awards.

Starnet announced the 2020 Design Awards for commercial flooring via webinar on June 2.

Armstrong Flooring announced it has been honored with two Platinum Awards for Design Excellence (ADEX). ADEX is the largest and most prestigious awards program for product & project design in the A&D industry.

The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) announced the winners of it 2020 Wood Floor of the Year Awards during its first-ever Virtual Expo held April 29 - May 1.

The ACI Foundation selected Frank J. Vecchio, John W. Wallace, and Kamal H. Khayat as this year's awardees. 

The 2020 World of Concrete Asia will be held from December 9 to 11 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.

Twelve construction projects from across North America were chosen to showcase the broad applications of slag cement and its impact on creating more durable, resilient and sustainable concrete. Two research projects on slag cement use are also being honored in this year’s program.
