Ernst & Young has recognized Art Dodge, CEO and president of Ecore International, as a 2025 Entrepreneur of the Year Greater Philadelphia Award winner. The program honors business leaders driving innovation and creating lasting industry impact.
Dodge was selected by an independent panel of top CEOs and past winners for his entrepreneurial leadership, transforming the sustainable manufacturing sector. As a fifth-generation leader, he has evolved Ecore from a small family cork business founded in 1871 into a global leader in circular manufacturing.
"We are in the business of making magic – turning trash into value in sustainable ways that keep waste out of landfills permanently," Dodge said. "As North America's largest converter of reclaimed scrap-tire rubber, we take pride in leading the industry with innovative upcycling processes."
Under Dodge's leadership, Ecore now diverts more than 430 million pounds of rubber from landfills annually through proprietary recycling processes. The company recently launched its TRUcircularity program to expand customer and partner participation in rubber recycling and resource conservation.
The recognition advances Dodge to finalist status for the Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 National Awards, with winners to be announced in November at the Strategic Growth Forum. The national overall winner will compete for the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year Award in June 2026.
EY's 40-year-old program celebrates entrepreneurs who transform business landscapes across various categories, including original founders, transformational CEOs, and multigenerational family business leaders who reimagine legacy operations.
