Jeremy Redig of Floor Rescue in Dallas won the 2025 Installation Award for Specialty Flooring with his innovative metallic epoxy project. Starting in decorative concrete in 2005, Redig has built a million-dollar business specializing in high-end residential floors.

His award-winning project involved creating a metallic epoxy floor with shimmering whites, blacks, silvers, and metallic effects, sealed with a ceramic topcoat. The challenge came from howling winds and Texas heat, forcing him to reverse his typical process by working from inside the house with garage doors closed rather than from the driveway.

Redig emphasizes that epoxy floors typically cure in three to seven days, with light foot traffic possible after 24 hours. He's passionate about training others in the trade, offering three types of programs: pop-up trainings, distributor partnerships, and intensive VIP master classes lasting four to six days.

His key advice: "Always try to leave a place better than how you found it" and invest heavily in quality prep work and good equipment. Redig is expanding his training business through Install Beyond Limits, bridging the gap between manufacturers and installers.
