In a move that could transform everyday surfaces into wireless charging stations, FreePower has partnered with global surface manufacturer Cosentino Group to integrate its free-placement charging technology into premium countertop materials.

The collaboration will embed FreePower's wireless charging system, featuring its signature Charging Halo technology, into Cosentino's Silestone and Dekton surfaces. The innovation allows users to charge devices anywhere within an active area, eliminating the need for precise placement.

Over 300 fabricators nationwide are currently being certified for installation, with hundreds more expected to join in the coming year. The technology will be showcased in Cosentino City showrooms and distribution centers starting in 2025.

FreePower's system, backed by more than 240 patents and multiple industry awards, including three 2024 CES Innovation Awards, works by projecting an interactive lighting display through translucent stone to indicate the charging area.
