Four flooring industry events are proceeding as scheduled at the new Loews Arlington Convention Center complex in Arlington, Texas, despite weather concerns for the latter part of the week. 

The Southwest Flooring Market (SWFM) has partnered with the Adleta Winter Product Show for the first time, creating more convenience for the distributor's customers, according to David Whitehurst, senior vice president of sales and marketing. The events are being held alongside Shaw Floors' dealer meeting at the Loews Arlington and BPI's dealer meeting at the adjacent Live! by Loews facility on January 8 and 9, 2025.

"We plan to open as scheduled on Thursday at 9 am," organizers confirmed, acknowledging weather-related concerns for Thursday and Friday while expressing hope for safe travel conditions for attendees.

The combined events offer retailers access to brands, including Stanton, Lions, and Republic. Mohawk hosts its second Roadshow event nearby at Embassy Suites by Hilton Grapevine, in Grapevine, Texas, January 8-9.
