US Leads 2025 Cevisama International Buyer Recruitment Plan

The upcoming Cevisama 2025 trade fair has demonstrated strong international appeal, with over 700 businesses and professionals already confirmed to attend through its Buyer Recruitment Plan. The initiative, backed by more than one million euros in funding from the Generalitat Valenciana and Feria Valencia, has particularly resonated with the U.S. market, which accounts for nearly 20% of international acceptances.
The strong U.S. presence aligns with current market trends, as Spanish ceramic tile exports to the United States reached 388 million euros between January and October 2024, marking a 1.2% growth according to ICEX data.
European Union markets, including France, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Portugal, form the second largest contingent of confirmed attendees, particularly significant for the bathroom sector. The Middle East, notably the United Arab Emirates, along with Morocco, Mexico, and Colombia, round out the major participating markets.
The recruitment initiative targeted 4,800 potential buyers, combining exhibitor recommendations with Cevisama's historical database. A notable success of the campaign includes securing attendance from Grimshaw, the renowned London-based architectural firm recently awarded the Sterling Prize for their Elizabeth line project.
The domestic Spanish campaign focused on architects, property developers, and facility outfitters, with particular emphasis on key regions including Madrid, Catalonia, the Basque Country, Navarra, and the Costa del Sol. Industry organizations such as ANDIMAC, ANERR, and various professional colleges have supported the recruitment of Spanish buyers.
This year's initiative introduced a dual promotion strategy, allowing exhibitors to directly invite key customers while enabling the fair to cultivate a high-caliber buyer pool, enhancing Cevisama's market position.
